I’m Tasha

My design story

I’ve been living my life creatively since as long as I can remember, but design properly entered my world when i downloaded a cracked version of Photoshop at age 13, the good ol’ days.

Since then I’ve been obsessed with learning and experimenting with design software. I studied Graphic Design at both GCSE and A Level to then Digital Arts at uni. This expanded my mind to other creative avenues such as coding, animation and photography.

My first job introduced me to UI UX shifting my whole perspective on design. Prior to this, I had been designing with one thing in mind: make, everything, pretty. However, this failed to take into consideration the person using the design: the user. UX taught me to think beyond aesthetics and to prioritise empathy and understanding of user needs.

This became the missing piece in my puzzle and gave my work greater purpose and fulfilment, knowing how much the impact of good design can have on another.

Now, in life I find myself gravitating to UI UX, complex design problems, design systems, and branding. So there we have it, thats my story. If I sound like a good match for your design problems, get in touch <3

My superpowers

I see everything

I have an annoyingly strong eye for detail meaning I see everything. I can spot what’s off without much thought but it also means i can get fixated sometimes.

I work fast

I’m a night owl. And during this time my brain shuts off and my creativity comes alive. Work gets done a way lot faster during these hours.

I love storytelling

I love taking complicated concepts and crafting easy to understand narratives through animations and visuals on slide decks.

Im versatile AF

I’m a jack of all trades designer. From branding to motion graphics, to UX UI to basic HTML & CSS to illustration. Whatever you need I’ve got you <3

Freelance UX UI Designer

Rebrand and website redesign for Pastest, a medical study platform helping students prepare for exams. I developed the visual identity across logo, colour, typography, illustration, and product visualisation, then documented the full system in Figma Sites.

Worked within a 3 person design team on complex financial data platform.

A big part of my role involved taking user and product problems, understanding the root cause, and designing practical UX/UI solutions. This included mapping user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, designing final UI, and maintaining the design system.

I also rebranded the marketing site imagery, and mentored intern designers. During my time there, I contributed to the redesign of the platform which was acquired for $1.3m in 2022 and later resold for $4m in 2024.

The fun stuff

So who is Tasha outside of design? I love to expand and challenge my mind to new ways to thinking which has led me to a range of interests.

Yoga Teacher and Embodiment Coach

I teach people how to feel more comfortable within their own bodies, helping them release stuck emotions allowing them to feel safer within their skin and find their rhythm. I teach workshops incorporating yoga, breathwork, somatic movement and intuitive dance.

Travelling

Travel has been a big part of my life. I love exploring new place, learning about new cultures and challenging my mind to different perspectives that different cultures inherit. Travel also pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you see different versions of yourslef you may never new existed.

Photography

I love to capture life happening, the realness, the reality and imperfections of it all. I find it fascinating how photos capture a moment in time, which contradicts the natural flow of life which is always in motion. Film photography is my fave, there is something about only having a limited about of shots which makes it so special. Check out my insta account!

My design story

So who is Tasha outside of design? I love to expand and challenge my mind to new ways to thinking which has led me to a range of interests.

I teach people how to feel more comfortable within their own bodies, helping them release stuck emotions allowing them to feel safer within their skin and find their rhythm. I teach workshops incorporating yoga, breathwork, somatic movement and intuitive dance.

Travelling

Travel has been a big part of my life. I love exploring new place, learning about new cultures and challenging my mind to different perspectives that different cultures inherit. Travel also pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you see different versions of yourslef you may never new existed.

Photography

I love to capture life happening, the realness, the reality and imperfections of it all. I find it fascinating how photos capture a moment in time, which contradicts the natural flow of life which is always in motion. Film photography is my fave, there is something about only having a limited about of shots which makes it so special. Check out my insta account!

Freelance UX UI Designer

Oct 2025 to Apr 2026

I worked with Pastest on a full rebrand and website redesign for their medical study platform.

The project started as a light refresh but grew into a full rebrand, including a new logo, colour palette, typography, illustration style, product visuals, and website UI. I also created brand guidelines in Figma Sites to document the system and support future consistency.

Career Break

Travelling & Personal Development

Oct 2024 to Sep 2025

I took time out to solo travel around Asia gaining new cultural experiences. I also completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, taught English, and did a 10-day silent meditation course. Overall, I explored, learned a lot, met loads of amazing people and had fun :)

Oct 2019 to May 2022

Worked within the marketing team creating digital and print assets across email, social, web, and campaign materials.

A key project was restructuring the customer newsletter. I carried out audience research, created personas, and analysed what content users found most valuable before redesigning the newsletter experience from the ground up.

I designed the email onboarding flow when the company rebranded and developed an email design system, increasing productivity per email by 50% and creating stronger consistency across teams.

Freelance Illustrator

Jun 2019 to Dec 2019

I was contracted to create a set of animated videos within NHS Kent, leading the project from concept through to final delivery. This included developing the visual house style, storyboarding the animations, and designing over 70 unique illustrations.
